At present, there are six chilled potato chips manufacturers in China. According to incomplete statistics of the Potato Food Professional Committee, the total production of chilled potato chips in 2006 was nearly 63,000 tons, while the actual consumption of chilled potato chips in China was nearly 100,000 tons, less than part of which was imported.
